Anne Quinn Parchment Craft Card Making - Parchment Craft I used to use this page for showing new cards as I made them.......along with lots of free patterns.

Parchment Craft is a way of making very special hand made cards; tracing a design on the parchment (a thick quality of tracing paper) and then embossing it, colouring and perforating with needle tools. I have just retired in late 2020/2021 after teaching Parchment Craft since 1996, and had many projects published in Parchment Craft Magazine over the years. I will still have patterns available if y

PATTERN 219.
A little grid design with a whitework design in the centre. I used polychromos pencils to colour the back with diagonal lines, and a little bit lighter on the front to add a little colour. Use any design of your choice for the centre.
I used the PCA bold diagonal grid.

PATTERN 218.
Another little grid pattern to fit a 6 inch square card!
Done on the PCA bold straight grid, hope you like it! Download the free pattern, or if you can't, please email me on [email protected] quoting pattern number above. The flowers are 7 punched out pieces from a heart punch, embossed, and stuck into a big blob of pinflair glue, with beads on top. The 3 leaves are 3D too.

PATTERN 217.
New gridwork, done on PCA straight bold grid. Just under 6 x 6 inches.
Can I suggest following the pattern of the corner that I've marked in black...5 x 5 square of bobbles, then do the 3 up, 5 across, 3 down castellated pattern to the next corner. Hopefully you will meet up perfectly! Then I did the outside row of bobbles all the way around, and proceed to work inwards from the corners first. Good luck. The snowdrop design is an old pattern of mine.
Download the pattern, but if you can't, please email me quoting pattern number to [email protected]

PATTERN NUMBER 216.
New pattern ... just wanted a bigger piece of gridwork! Used the PCA bold diagonal grid.
I did the top, right and bottom sides first, then turned the parchment and worked in, row by row from the right hand long side, towards the flower design.
Download the pattern yourself, if you can't, please email me for a copy to [email protected] quoting pattern number.
The last 3 copies were done by 3 friends, using their own slightly different ideas!

PATTERN 215.
EDIT. I have been asked to remove this by Paul Church, as it is a groovi plate design in the centre. I have put the grid pattern on again without the template design. Anne

A new, simple grid design for a 6 inch square design. Done on a PCA bold straight grid, with holes cut out, and "ribbon" of coloured parchment threaded through. Pattern attached, if you can't download it, please email me on [email protected] and mention pattern number.

After an exciting month..... 6 days holiday to Dublin, followed by Paddy's 80th birthday, and then we've both had covid, we've now come out the other side!
We must have been to Ireland over 25 times for teaching and holidays, between 2004 and 2019, thought we'd never make the trip again, until daughter Sarah suggested us all going to Dublin for holiday together so that they could help us! So off we went, train to Manchester and flight to Dublin, Paddy's home for most of his teenage years. It was the grandchildren's first flight, so all very exciting! Stayed in the Premier Inn at Dublin Airport, hired 2 cars, and visited the local Parkrun in Swords, visited Skerries for afternoon on the beach, Malahide Castle for a day, met with Paddy's cousin twice, visited Portmarnock, and Howth harbour, and into Dublin for last full day. Came home shattered, but what a wonderful time with family. Home for Paddy's 80th birthday weekend 3 days later, then I started with cold, which turned into covid, and Paddy followed! All better now, with some lovely memories of our (most likely) last trip to Dublin! But I'll never say never!
