Hi, and welcome to Phoenix Salvage Originals, finally got the name change from Wood Affair.
Working in partnership with Quillon, we aim to bring products that bring our customers joy and equally important, usefullness.
Whilst our products will follow our ethos of using reclaimed materials, mostly wood, we will when necessary, use materials that have become available that have not been used before. Things like fittings, fixtures, screws, nails, wax, stains and so on. You get the idea, it's hard to use a rusty old nail again.
So where does our materials come from?
Pallet wood is number 5 on the UK list as the most readily available reclaimed wood source, and when lucky enough, some great hardwoods can be salvaged, and once cleaned up, planed and a finish applied, they look awesome.
Other sources are from skips and general throwouts, always on the lookout for wood that needs a new home and as our name suggests, born from the fire, or given new life. Our "Rebirth" legacy series will follow this with a range of products born from reclaimed oak, pallet wood and others that become available.
