Still keeping my toe dipped in the art world...although I've not done a great deal on that front as of late.

Each of the different areas feed into one-another and cross pollinates...new ground broken in one area will cause inspiration to flood into another, and it's in this that I can't truly see an end goal for any of this, more just a constant flow of visions and re-visions, steady improvements and refinements.

Well, it ain't much but it's something.

If I've been quiet as of late it's because I've been developing my woodwork skills. This little thing I'm working on is a low meditation table made out of oak. It still needs some work but the shape is there.

I had visions of making something like this about 2 years ago when I was in the jungle fresh from drinking the medicine, so it feels right and proper to be making this.

I'm starting humble but eventually I want to start incorporating my usual designs and fancier tricks into what I make - primarily for the sheer joy of creating beautiful items.

Excuse the lack of updates, watching what's happening in the world at the moment is sapping my creative energy somewhat.

Today however I'm at playing with this beautiful piece of walnut I got from . I'm not sure exactly what it'll be at the end but for now I'm constructing a nice chunky frame...I think a mirror will be involved too.

Now we're in full swing! Crazy weekend #1 out of the way, now onto crazy weekend #2.

This Saturday I'm returning to Retford where I did a pretty successful market earlier in the year.

Sunday 8th I'm returning to Sheffield Botanical Gardens with Craft, Art and Makers Market...

Then on Sunday 15th it's my last market of the season at Cromford Mills.

I had a lot of interest about orders - I would ask that people get their orders in as early as possible so that I'm not rushing around! I offer shipping throughout the UK (not Europe currently even though it still says so on my website - due to the change in postage prices that I still don't fully understand!)

New mandala lightboxes are being added to the website as you read this!

This one was getting a lot of attention at the weekend, drawing in many eyes with its optically illusory design. In the middle is the classic symbol of the lotus flower, with the overall design focused on creating a sense of peace and calm.

NEW pendants ready! Walnut inlaid with white oak, then sanded down - notice the edges are now rounded and smoothed. I'm really happy with these and they feel very tactile and nice to the touch.

There's also another design I have on a smaller pendant which I might unveil tomorrow. What symbols would you like to see on a pendant?
