Happy Valentines Day from us.. a little poem about self love for you 💘

If you silently laugh,
at your own jokes,
in your own head,
that’s self-love actually.

If you talk to yourself,
when things go wrong,
the way you would to a child,
that’s self-love actually.

If you take yourself away,
when the world is loud,
and let yourself be,
that’s self-love actually.

Loving yourself,
as with all forms of love,
is found in the ordinary.

If you silently laugh,
at your own jokes,
in your own head,
that’s self-love actually.

You should keep that up my friend,
you should keep all of that up.

Hello again, I’m Clare.
Interior designer and warm-hearted talker, based in Shoreham-By- Sea,Nr Brighton & Hove.

I work with families, busy people, and anyone who’s ever said “I don’t know where to start.” Most of my clients haven’t worked with a designer before — they just need a helping hand, someone to listen, translate their ideas, and guide the process calmly from first chat to final detail.

I’m not here to impose a look. I’m here to understand you, your quirks, your chaos, your wishlist and turn that into a space that feels joyful, personal, and genuinely lived in.

I live with my son (full of opinions — clearly my genes are strong) and my goldendoodle, Buddy (full of mischief — I’m sensing a theme). I like good books, white wine (good), characterful homes, the history behind them, travel, and proper conversations — ideally all wrapped up in a long weekend!
