Artists across Shoreham have gone very quiet... impromptu decorating, cleaning and tidying, packaging those cards that have just arrived, trying to hide that unsightly corner and hanging all of the artwork.

All to be ready for the opening of the Adur Art Trail on Saturday!

Over here, I have glossed two window cils two walls that I'm not sure I fully anticipated doing on Monday. I've made a new area to hang lamps from the wall- always useful to show how you don't need wired in fixtures. And I've made some new necklaces out of porcelain off cuts from lamps.
And well. I'm nearly ready...

And I'm off! The van is loaded with my ceramics, my stand and my camping gear ready for .co.uk


Find me in beautiful Sussex countryside for Potfest South East this bank holiday weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and being outside for a few days, greeting the sheep from my cosy van bed in the mornings.

It's definitely the most beautiful show I have done, set in the rolling South Downs. Getting there is easy by car and there is a shuttle bus from Glynde station.

Go BIG or go home, right?

I went big. This size has been waiting in the side lines for a while. For confidence, for time, for a strong back (!) And the first casts have come out this week.

Grateful for a commission to bring this to life. I loved how the couple deliberated over my colour samples and took their time to carefully choose the colours and chose this detail from another piece... describing it as 'foam spray' pattern, it will be a delicate pale green and turquoise.

Let's see how it comes out!
If all goes to plan🤞🏼 I hope to bring this to .co.uk later this month and will absolutely have one on display at my Open Studio in June.

Well, 2025, you were memorable.

I've had a really good year in business, 6 shows, so many lights and wonderful experiences. And also the saddest of times personally, with the loss of our dear westie Dexter, my studio sidekick, which tumbled our little family into a really challenging season.

I've learned to go gently, look after myself and some of the hardest learning; to put myself first. I am constantly gaining confidence and reminding myself to do what I do best, creatively and continue being brave.

I've exhibited with some fantastic people and done some of the best shows so far, made a podcast, been in a magazine.... I've made loadsoflights and paintings! And met some wonderful people along the way. Thank you's tagged at the end. You're all amazing for the brilliant work you do!

I'm finishing the year with the biggest job I've ever made, quantity wise and I'm nearly ready to close the studio doors and looking forward to a quiet Christmas time. Spending precious family time... and time with this new little life in our family (last slide)... Our new pup, io.

I'm moving into 2026 with joy, grief, gentleness and gratitude for the love, stability and security in our lives.
