As a teacher by day, September has always felt like a fresh start—so it seems the perfect time to share my new Shrewsbury wall planners.

A cuppa, a wander around Oswestry and plenty of creative inspiration! After last week’s Makers Meeting, a friend showed me some of her favourite local places while I took photos and gathered ideas for the Handmade with Heart Makers Market.

The event will be raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in memory of Beth, making it a particularly special day. ❤️

Come along on Saturday 5th September, from 10am–2.30pm at Oswestry Memorial Hall.

Woodfield Stores are now stocking my cards and coasters!
A much-loved independent local convenience store, full of character and one I’ve known since my school days at Woodfield and St George’s. Calling in after school all those years ago 🙈, I never imagined I’d one day have my own work sitting on the shelves there.

Lovely first day at Oscars Ludlow Assembly Rooms Lovely meeting so many new people, fellow artists and visitors alike. There were even a few suggestions that Hereford should be next… I think I’d better finish Shropshire first! (So many places to illustrate between Shrewsbury and Ludlow!
After packing up, I enjoyed a sunny mooch around, taking snapshots of inspiration for future illustrations.
Camp Lane has caught my eye—it feels like the perfect companion to my Ellesmere Love Lane illustration.
