Marmalade at Dogpole Makers of Hand made Bespoke Lampshades in our Shropshire workshop. We love to make lamp shades that are colourful and individual.

What a fantastic makeover our customer chose for their tired older lampshade, truly Bespoke, all hand stitched onto the frame and fully lined with a double fringe and contrasting binding.

I’m loving this jewel mix of colours, very decadent with a luxury velvet exterior and a pink cotton interior and finished with a double layer of fringing and braid. Very bo***ir! All hand made.

Big changes for Marmalade at Dogpole, our lamps and shades are on the move!! To on Wyle Cop and St Mary’s Street Shrewsbury. our full range will be available to buy or order from the 28th of March from their shops along with their great choice of pattern books of material to choose from. I shall be moving where I make the shades to my studio where I shall be dealing with orders and creating new designs and don’t forget we have our website www. marmaladeatdogpole.co.uk

The refurbishment of this customers shade worked really well, with the customer bringing in her old shade and some Orla Kiely material. We stripped the frame then bound it and hand sewn each individual panel onto the frame. The shade was then fully lined and the customer chose an olive green fringing and braid from our colour range that was attached to the frame.
