Results of my first go at pottery - the final kiln firing - ranked most successful to pretty rubbish.
1. Cat sculpture. Very happy with him - nice to hold and pleasing cream colour. I’ve started another batch of these (swipe) which will hopefully be ready for Drawn Contemporary on Nov 21st 🤞🏽

I’ve decided to make more cats as incense holders to sell - 2 holes for the incense: one at the top and one from the cat’s bottom (shown in photo). Will partially glaze them in various colours..

Pet food bowl. Lumpy and inelegant, but it is functional, so that’s a win 🥇

About Riso graphs: There is a magic to the Risograph process which lies in its ‘happy accidents’. This chonky beast of a digital screen printing machine regularly creates misregistration - giving unexpected colour overlaps and playful imperfections, making every print unique.
