I honestly believe if you have storage it just ends up full of stuff you don’t need because it can. I much prefer to have less ‘stuff’ generally, that way everything is purposeful. The dust collector comment always makes me laugh though, as though it’s better to have dust collecting on the top of cupboards you can’t reach and inevitably don’t clean as often
