Welcome to TrugShop

Firstly thank you for visiting our page, please let me tell you a little about us, our Trugs and what we do! We started building Vegetable Trugs simply to dip our toes into the world of “grow your own fruit and veg”, something we could do as a family and learn together. It soon became clear from a lot of interest on social media that there is a market for these Trugs and so we

started TrugShop! We wanted to hand craft something that would last with a few tweaks that other branded Trugs are missing! These Trugs are perfect for everybody of all ages and abilities, whether a seasoned gardener or a complete novice there is a Trug for you! We have since evolved in to making carved wooden signs alongside our Trugs, these signs have proven to be extremely popular and as a result they now make up around 80% of our business! We now make hanging bar/shop signs supplied with wrought iron brackets, magnetic bottle openers, wall mounted plaque signs, freestanding signs and much more. 💚Another beautiful set of arch top gates supplied and fitted today for lovely customers, this time we were in sunny Strood in Rochester.

All of our gates are made using mortise and tenon joints, glued and pegged.
This one was fitted with adjustable hook and band hinges for future maintenance, drop bolts, lockable brenton bolt and keyed access via a long throw euro lock gate latch.
Finished in a natural oak stain.

That’s another large solid Oak house sign made and delivered, this one is double sided and has gone to a beautiful house in Doddington!

Finished with Superior Danish Oil and mounted onto an existing wrought iron bracket attached to a stunning Oak post! 💚

This is one of the house signs I finished and delivered today, such a beautiful piece of wood and looks stunning with the Danish Oil finish (love how the water just beads on the finish after a little shower). 👌🏻
