It’s a tough old job…

Someone asked me if Snow is always working. The answer is definitely no!

Most of the time she is our goofy, sometimes grumpy, and definitely cheeky family dog.

She just happens, on occasion, to put on her sensible hat and help her young person navigate the outside world.

Of course, she doesn’t know she is working - she’s just being an extra good girl . And it makes all the difference to us. ❤️🐾

Rest assured, once she hangs up her sensible hat at home she goes back to acting like an idiot 😂😂.

She’s just a teeny pup making a big difference! ❤️🐾

Fox was out today helping her mini hooman collect his glasses. Her calm presence helped him to wait in the store without any stress, and she was the perfect companion as he regulated in town afterwards.

A great assistance dog training outing 🐾🐾

I’m sure I am not alone in second guessing myself all the time!

But my reaction to this custom pet book really surprised me! I’d found writing it really emotional, but the drawings didn’t feel quite my best.

When I saw the final print a few weeks later I was surprised to see they looked great on the page! They are now some of my favourite drawings. ❤️🐾

It always surprises me how I can feel so sure and then so unsure about the same piece of work 🤦‍♀️

I’m making cute pet bookmarks for the shop today!

There is something very soothing about putting these lovely creatures through the laminator 😂

I hand draw, design, print, cut and laminate these bookmarks myself. So, if you pick one up for £2 at the Mill Lane Collective, Solihull, you’ll know you’ve got something a bit special (and a bargain!).

Snow borrowed her mini hooman for training today (the young human she assists was resting) and she aced it.

She performed the ‘take me out’ command with much glee, but did stop short of taking us out the shopping centre door in the hope we might change our mind and go to the coffee shop by the exit! 😂😂

She was so good she needed to do a lot of goofballing on the way home. Standard Goldie procedure 😂😂🐾

Snow visited the shop today! She was such a good girl and dealt with all the excitement very well 🐾🐾

She even managed to sniff out a book all about her! Who’d have thought it 😂😂

Dogs are welcome in our shop! Stop by and say hello 🐾🐾
