After years of wishful thinking, she finally plucked up the courage to give up the boring day job and open her open gallery/shop! Harbour Lane works as a studio for Tori to make work from as well as sell her pieces and support other Scottish artists. The studio is situated next to the harbour in South

Queensferry, just outside of Edinburgh, and has a very nautical feel with all sorts of beautiful handmade and drawn products, with nothing mass produced!

A lampshade is only ever half the story… it always needs a base to bring it to life.

What an absolute dream it was working with Ella Fletcher Ceramics on these custom bases. She absolutely nailed the brief and matched the colours, tones and textures of our design perfectly.

What makes them even more special is now Ella has hung up her ceramic apron - making these absolute beauties even more limited edition!

Our full birthday collection will be available from 26th September.

I have been waiting for this moment for MONTHS!!!

All year I’ve been busy designing, making, planning and scheming how to celebrate the fact my business is turning 10.

I have SO much to share with you but obviously I had to start with a lampshade!

All our birthday products will be available online and instore on the 26th September when we are having a little instore birthday party in South Queensferry. Stay tuned for all the details and make sure to mark it in your diary!! 🎉

I can’t believe that hours and hours of work can be so easily squashed down into 2 and a half minutes!

So much work went into making this Autumn display. But I am so pleased with the final result and have already forgotten all the sewing stress.

You didn’t think I’d really just share all the available designs did you?!

Where is the fun in that!!

That’s right - there will be FOUR designs available on Thursday but one design will be kept a mystery until we celebrate the shop turning 10 at the end of September. Of course, if you choose to order the mystery design then you’ll get to see it before everyone else but you have to promise to help us keep it a secret. 🤫

Just a bit of fun to start the celebrations we have planned for the shop’s 10th birthday!

It’s happening!!!!

Launch day for this year’s limited edition lanterns is Thursday at 7pm on our website.

These designs are inspired by the coast and look so good as a set and really tell the story of looking out on the activity taking place on the water.

Each one has a shaped top to echo the design and some themed cut outs that only appear when the candle is on.

Each one comes with its own electric tea light (which we recommend using to keep them looking their best!)

Can’t wait to hear what you all think.

I genuinely think this is one of the best displays I’ve ever done. 🫛🫜🥕

There are so many little elements that it’s like the whole thing is telling a story.
