Ok… it is WARM. I have managed to be in the studio today, just long enough to twist up these beautiful skeins of pure silk.
Beautifully soft and cool, they have been listed in the online shop, (YarnTings.com) there are two of each colour and one skein is 400m can do a camisole for up to a 42 in chest, like the one I’m wearing in the last pic, or a pure mesh pullover up to a ###L or a boat neck batwing up to an XXL
Or just get 2. Mix it up. I’m definitely enjoying being able to knit in this heat, not sure I’d be able to deal with a woolly one!
Images 1 & 2 are photos of my collection of shiny bright silk yarns in a rainbow of colours. Deep plum, through to reds, pinks, peach, butter yellow, lime green, mermaid turquoise, violet blue and turquoise and a blue grey/black. Dotted amongst this rainbow are variegated skeins of magenta, gold and turquoise, fire red and gold, and neon yellow and pink with black streaks, and finally a soft turquoise blue with flecks of orange and brown.
Image 3 is me, sweltering in a denim baseball cap in a peach camisole in knitted silk, a white shirt and headphones. Hand spun necklaces hang on a grid wall behind my head
