God loves you ❤️

Last up in my new Psalm 23 Encouragement Collection is this beautiful red card, inspired by the concluding verse of Psalm 23:

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6

The Bible is filled with verses that highlight God’s unending, steadfast, and unconditional love for us. God’s love is sacrificial, everlasting, and faithful. This verse reminds us that God’s goodness and blessings are actively chasing us wherever we go.

As I was studying the meaning behind this verse, I came across a beautiful illustration:

Imagine a shepherd walking ahead of his sheep. The sheep follow him, and behind them are two sheepdogs named Goodness and Mercy, chasing after any stragglers and keeping them close to the shepherd. The Good Shepherd keeps us close to Himself through His goodness and mercy, always pursuing us with His love.

Everything good in our lives comes from the hand of God:

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17

Amen.

Goodness is God giving us what we do not deserve. Mercy is God not giving us what we do deserve. What wonderful news! When David looks beyond the days of his earthly life, he sees what comes after, the joy of eternity in the immediate presence of the Lord. Dwelling with Him will be incomparably better than the greatest joys we have known in this life.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd because He died to rescue His sheep, us, and He lives to care for us everlasting. Amen.

Psalm 23 ends with such a beautiful assurance, that we can enjoy the presence of the Lord forever both throughout our days on earth and for all eternity. Amen.

God sees you 💛

Fourth in my new Psalm 23 Encouragement Collection is this flowing gold card, inspired by Psalm 23:5:

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” Psalm 23:5 (NIV)

This card reflects God’s provision, protection, favour, and abundant blessings. It reminds us that God sees us, sustains us, renews our strength, and gives us purpose.

In this verse, there is a beautiful shift from the image of a shepherd caring for his sheep to that of a gracious host welcoming an honoured guest. God not only feeds and sustains us, but also offers peace and security, even when we are surrounded by difficulties, opposition, or uncertainty. He prepares a place for us and remains present with us in every circumstance.

The anointing with oil symbolises divine favour, refreshment, and calling. In the Old Testament, oil was used to commission prophets, priests, and kings, signifying that they had been set apart for God’s purposes. In the same way, God anionts us and reminds us that we belong to Him, even in the midst of a challenging world.

The overflowing cup is a beautiful picture of God’s generosity. He does not simply give us enough to get by; He pours out His joy, strength, grace, and blessing in abundance. Jesus acknowledged that we would face troubles in this world, yet He also promised that His joy would be in us and that our joy would be full. This overflowing cup reminds us that God continually sustains us and fills us with new joy.

God is with you 🖤

Third up in my new Psalm 23 Encouragement Collection is this beautiful valley card, inspired by the third and fourth verses of Psalm 23:

“He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake. Even though I walk
through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil,
for you are with me; your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.” Psalm 23:3-4 (NIV)

This third card focuses on God leading us into rest and into righteousness. When we find rest, we have the strength we need to walk on the right path. There will be times when the path seems impossible and very hard to walk, but with God as our Shepherd, He will always lead us on the right path, restore us, guide us, and protect us when we wander away or stumble.

The darkest valley can be any difficult situation casting a shadow over our lives, but this verse reassures us that God is with us in the darkest valleys just as much as in the light, mountaintop times. Not only is He with us, but He will guard us from evil. His rod and staff act as a comfort to us. We do not need to fear because, in Romans 8:38–39, it says: “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Amen

As mentioned, this collection is especially close to my heart. It has taken me quite some time to create, but it has also been one of my most meaningful and exciting collections to date. It was created during a season of personal change and reflection, a time that included both grief and new beginnings. Throughout that journey, I found myself returning again and again to Psalm 23. I felt that God was speaking to me through these verses with comfort, peace, and reassurance.

The text on each card is derived from what I felt God revealed and highlighted to me personally through this Psalm, with each design reflecting a different aspect of His care, provision, guidance, comfort, and protection. As I painted this image, I reflected on these truths and found great encouragement in them myself.

💙 God Restores You 💙

Second in my new Psalm 23 Encouragement Collection is this peaceful blue design, inspired by Psalm 23:2–3:

“He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul.”

This collection is especially close to my heart. It has taken quite some time to create, but it has also been one of my most meaningful and exciting collections to date. It was created during a season of personal change and reflection, a time that included both grief and new beginnings. Throughout that journey, I found myself returning again and again to Psalm 23, finding comfort, peace, and reassurance in God’s words.

The message on each card comes from what I felt God was highlighting to me personally through this Psalm, with every design reflecting a different aspect of His care, provision, guidance, comfort, protection, and love.

This card focuses on God as our Restorer, the One who leads us into places of rest and refreshes our weary souls. Whatever you may be facing today, whether it is a difficult season, uncertainty, loss, or challenge, God is able to restore, heal, strengthen, and renew. Nothing is too difficult or too big for Him.

My prayer is that you would encounter God’s peace today, place your trust in Him, and be reminded that He faithfully leads you along the right path.

God Cares for You 💚

First up in my new Psalm 23 Encouragement Collection is this lush green card, inspired by the opening words of Psalm 23:

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures.” (Psalm 23:1–2)

This collection is especially close to my heart. It has taken me quite some time to create, but it has also been one of my most meaningful and exciting collections to date. It was created during a season of personal change and reflection, a time that included both grief and new beginnings. Throughout that journey, I found myself returning again and again to Psalm 23, feeling God speak to me through these verses with comfort, peace, and reassurance. The text on each card is derived from what I felt God was highlighting to me personally through this Psalm, with each design reflecting a different aspect of His care, provision, guidance, comfort, and protection.

This first card focuses on God as our Shepherd. Psalm 23 paints a beautiful picture of God’s deep care and provision for us. Like a devoted shepherd, He watches over His sheep, leading them to safety, rest, and nourishment. The promise that “I lack nothing” doesn’t mean we will have everything we want, but that God will faithfully provide everything we truly need. He invites us to stop striving and searching for fulfilment elsewhere, and instead find peace and contentment in Him. Calling the Lord my shepherd speaks of a personal and intimate relationship with God—one where He knows us, guides us, protects us, and gently leads us through every season of life. Even when life feels uncertain, we can trust that He is leading us into His green pastures, places of rest, hope, and restoration.

As I painted this image, I reflected on these truths and found great encouragement in them myself. My prayer is that this card reminds you that you are deeply loved, cared for, and never alone.
