Good Morning to everyone .. I’m sorry I’ve been mia ..to be honest I’ve been melting in this brutal heat 🥵 I’ve had little energy for much else 🤣 Hope you are all managing to keep your cool 😎 😉

Here is a little card I painted a few weeks ago for a lovely little girl who had her first Birthday this week! Happy Birthday Harper 🎈🎈 Hope you had the best day !

Giraffes 🦒🦒 Birth Memento

It only took me a year to present this to my grandson 😀 in my defence I was waiting for his room to be decorated 😉.. I have edited the personal details from my painting, obviously, 😊 but my giraffes will soon be hanging out side by side keeping watch over Finn

It was all about another Birthday 🎈 Boy yesterday! 😀

My little grandson turned 1 ! Can’t believe how he looks like his Dad did at that age .. it’s a very strange feeling and it takes me back a fair few years too 😉 Here’s the card I created for him ..

Wishing you all a lovely Monday ☀️ 💕xx

It was all about the Birthday 🎈 Boy yesterday!

With such awful weather predicted at the weekend we opted to all go ‘out out’ which was a lovely occasion 😉 I’m sure Sam will be running it off soon😂

Here’s the card I created for him with a few humorous observations of a runner🏃‍♂️ and the loaded chocolate 🍫 cake 🤭@

Soaking up the sunshine, one brushstroke at a time. 🌻✨ Let a little light in today!

Whilst this is a re share I thought it deserved a place on the grid this morning….

Wishing you all a lovely Tuesday ☀️ 💕xx

Be your own Rose 🌹

Loose watercolours… This is all about focussing on suggestion rather than realism .. it is very easy to get hung up on painting something that ‘looks’ like the object, and then thinking that you’ve failed when it doesn’t ! Art is all about expressing yourself which is how i have run my previous classes… there is no right or wrong 😉 pick up that paint🎨 brush and give it a go and let me know how you get on 😊

Wishing you all a lovely Saturday 💕xx

Some paintings chose to bloom softly. 🌸
Petals that melt into water, colours bleeding into each other. I love painting🎨 florals in watercolor because they are allowed to be imperfect—just like real flowers, and much like us 😉
What’s your favorite flower? 🌹 🌼🌸Let me know in the comments!

Wishing you all a lovely Wednesday 💕xx

Good morning I’m so pleased my naughty Crow🐦‍⬛ illustration yesterday made you smile 😀I think he’d heard he was featured on IG and Facebook 🤭as Amber🐶🐾 and I had one follow us home from our walk yesterday, it hung around in the garden for a while till she chased it off😂

Anyway I digress 😊.. I’m bringing you another loose watercolour today (without a crow in sight)😀

Wishing you all a lovely Friday 💕xx

Just too funny not to re-share…

I was only reminding my granddaughter about this story last week and my illustration of events 🤣.. The naughty Crow🐦‍⬛who managed to annoy a dog 🐶, a toddler and myself in the space of a few days, stealing a dog bone, an iced bun,and buttered toast 🤣 proof that they are highly intelligent and recognise faces and will follow a person to gain food ! I became “the god of fries” for a week .. he even brought his friends 😳

Wishing you all a lovely Thursday 💕xx
