Hand sewn made to order and ready-made cards & larger pieces using my own embroidery and applique designs
Check the photo albums for many previous designs and for ready-made cards available to purchase now Every card is sewn individually so there may be slight differences in detail such as slight colour changes in thread and backing materials used, depending on what's in my sewing box at the time

Hello chaps 😄.

I'd just like to thank everyone for their best wishes for mine and Nick's wedding anniversary last Saturday. We picked a good weekend weather wise for our trip and walked a fair few miles on both days. We stayed in Shanklin and on Sunday we drove to the Needles park and walked down and up the steep steps to Alum Bay and back. We took our children there about 25 years ago but took the chair lift that time.

Appropriately this bespoke card was stitched for the 5th too. Wishing all the best to Abbi and Indifor their future together.

Today I will be sailing across the Solent to the Isle of Wight to have a weekend away as Nick and I celebrate our wedding anniversary. I'm being treated to a weekend away and we're starting with a visit to Osborne House, Queen Victoria's residence over on the island.
The 2 photos are from 39 years ago, one on honeymoon and the other in the Abbey where we were married . We're a lot older now, and one of us is definitely greyer too!

No work in progress to show you as I haven't taken any photos of my stitching today. I had a hearing test this afternoon and the silver lining is that my hearing is very very good for soneone of my age, despite the retracted eardrums which I've now had for 4 months 🤨. Here's a recently stiched card instead.

I hope you've all had a good weekend and are raring to go for the new week and new month too 😏

I stitched this bespoke 80th card, an old design which I haven't stitched for a few years, a couple of weeks ago. I used the very last of this pretty pink Liberty fabric for the '80' so I'll be on the lookout for another pink fabric to replace it when time allows.

I've got a busy week ahead of orders with wedding, birthday and Christmas cards on my to do list. I also have another test for my ongoing ear problems on Wednesday.

One of two similar cards stitched for weddings over last weekend.

Both single and pairs of ch*****ne glasses in designs have been a popular choice this year for bespoke cards.

I'm taking a breather from stitching tomorrow and seeing my mum, before starting on my next orders. I have a long list of made to order cards still to stitch for various occasions right up to Christmas, so you've certainly been keeping me busy. Onwards and upwards 🙂.
