This Friday my original watercolour painting of Fox & Hounds will be showcased for the first time during Landmark Art Fairs Autumn Art Fair.

It measures 32x40cm and it has been framed by The Frame Shed with LION Picture Framing Supplies and ultra clear Artglass UV 99 glazing.

I will be showing this painting along my collection of my latest work, 18 pieces in total. My last exhibition of the year!

I finally bring you the framed watercolour original painting of The Lord Clyde

The Frame Shed has beautifully applied a velvety green LION Picture Framing Supplies colour mount, making it even more pub-like.
It’s been framed with Artglass UV 99 so you can appreciate all the details of my painting from most angles.

I am very happy to announce that my original watercolour painting of Fox & Hounds has been beautifully framed by The Frame Shed using LION Picture Framing Supplies.
It has been fitted with superclear Artglass UV 99 so that all the details from the painting can appreciated from most angles and protected from light.

Most importantly, this painting will be debuted next weekend during Landmark Art Fairs I Teddington 16th until the 18th.

2021 vs 2026

It’s a joy and an honour to have the time to revisit my work.
As I mentioned in the past, The Nag’s Head in Kinnerton Street has been part of my collection since the very beginning but at the same time, it was about time I revisited it.

I tend to do one of this every year. It is actually the perfect exercise to rethink about the memories I’ve had a these location, look at the changes to the location and evaluate my progress as an artist and the style I have developed throughout these years.

I am not going to lie, i havent been taking about this specific illustration from 2021 nor taken it with me to market because i was possibly embarrased of my early style compared to how I paint nowadays.

But seeing them side by side brings me a lot of joy. I have changed but the essence is the same ❤️

It is lovely to revisit a location and see what has changed.
I originally painted The Nag’s Head in 2021, very early into my artist career.
I had fallen in love after our pal Rachael Crowther took us around a little and very gentle pub crawl of Belgravia.

But since I have painted so much ever since, I want to think that I have improved my technique and control of watercolour, my eye for detail and the way I see things, so this location was very much due to be painted again. To the point that I barely ever brought it with me to markets.

So here it is, 5 years later. Even its facade has changed slightly.

This time I wanted to make sure I added plenty of red geraniums.

So here it is. It’s new but it is not.
