What’s next for Yarnbarf? (Long post alert!) this question has been niggling in my mind for a long time now. I feel like I’m finally ready to answer.
I’ve been quiet for over a year, so I wanted to share a quick update. My full-time job needed most of my energy, and the pressure to constantly create - paired with slow online sales, left me feeling overwhelmed. Since stepping back, I gained perspective on what drives Yarnbarf and how I’d like to go forward.
What I discovered is: I love dyeing, but not every base brings me the same joy. My favourite days were always spent dyeing super chunky bases, so that’s what I’ll be focusing on from here. It feels like the most sustainable and creatively exciting way to return. If interest grows again, I’ll happily rethink offering more bases in the future.
