Upon reflection I’ve realised that 2025 has been a year of so many firsts. After becoming self employed for the first time I wasn’t sure how it was gonna go, but taking that leap has allowed me to achieve more than I’d ever imagined.
Highlights have got to be my first ever 3 day event at The Rutland Flower Show, painting my first ‘non-Christmas’ shop windows in the sun, launching my first product range, surviving a house renovation and illustrating my first book. But the biggest and most special of all of these has got to be growing a tiny human for the first time and I can’t wait to meet our little girl in February 💕
I hope I can keep the momentum going in 2026, I’ve never navigated running a business and being a mum at the same time, and I’ve absolutely no doubt that it’ll be my biggest challenge yet.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year! And if this year hasn’t gone the way you’d imagined, please don’t lose hope. Life has a funny way of turning everything around. Sometimes our darkest moments can lead us to find bigger and better things than we’d ever dreamed of. It’s 100% true for me and it could be for you too, so keep going and keep moving forward. If all you did this year was muddle through, then you’re still a hero in my book ❤️
Sending love and gratitude to you all, Merry Christmas! 🎄😊
