When the nights draw in, a cold floor is the first thing you notice. More often than not, the problem is underneath.

The right underlay helps keep warmth in, softens every step and cuts down noise between rooms. It also helps your carpet or flooring last longer.

It’s never the exciting part of a new floor, but it’s the bit we never cut corners on.

Once they’re down, they can look almost identical. But choosing the right one for each room makes all the difference.

✔️ Quick-Step laminate is a brilliant all-rounder for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. It’s tough, easy to clean and comes in a huge range of wood looks.
✔️ LVT is a great choice where water is part of daily life. Kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms get splashes, spills and wet feet, and LVT handles all of it.

Not sure which suits your space? Tell us about the room and how you use it, and we’ll point you to the right floor.

A flat room is forgiving. Stairs are not. Every step has to line up, the pattern has to run true from top to bottom, and the edges have to be tight and safe underfoot no bunching, no gaps, no loose nosings.

It’s fiddly, skilled work, and it’s usually the first place you can tell whether a floor was fitted properly or just finished quickly. We take the time to get stairs right, because that’s the bit people run their hand along every single day.

Thinking about new stair carpet or a runner this winter? We’ll measure, advise and fit it properly, backed by our 2-year fitting guarantee.

The hallway takes the worst of autumn: rain, mud and whatever the kids and the dog drag in. It’s the one spot where how a floor copes matters more than how it photographs.

There are two great options for it:
✔️ Quick-Step laminate is tough, easy to clean and available in a huge range of wood looks.
✔️ LVT is hard-wearing, easy to wipe down, and still warm to look at when the nights draw in.

If your entrance already looks tired after one week of October, it might be time for something tougher.

Before anyone reads your sign or meets your team, they've already stepped onto your floor.

For offices, shops and workspaces, we recommend flooring built for commercial life: hard-wearing commercial vinyl, LVT, laminate and carpet tiles that are practical, cost-effective and easy to maintain. And because we're fully mobile, we bring the samples straight to your premises.

A showroom can only tell you so much. Your actual room, your actual light, and your existing furniture that’s where the real decision gets made.

That’s why Tiger Flooring is fully mobile. We bring flooring samples directly to you, so you can see how different options look in your own space before making a decision.

No showroom guesswork. No trying to imagine how it will look at home. Just samples, in your space, where they actually belong.

Not every room needs the same floor for the same reasons. We start with what the room actually has to deal with, then find the flooring built for it.
