If you know anything about me, you know that I love mushrooms, and I love dragons! And Mallory combines them both! I was so happy to be given the opportunity to test this wonderfully whimsical gal by the ever lovely !

This is such a beautiful pattern, well-written and incredibly detailed. There’s so much room for adding extras and details, I truly think no two Mallory’s will be the same! Such an incredible cottagecore design, I absolutely love her! 😍

For my Mallory, I chose to stick with the original colour scheme, but I added in some textured yarn to give that mossy, slightly overgrown effect! She really is so customisable! Grab your own copy of this amazing pattern from the designer, and make sure to tag her in your creation! 🍄

I cannot emphasise how much fun I had testing this pattern for .cherry.bubbles ! As a lover of Adventure Time - and considering Marceline is my favourite character - I was so happy I got chosen to test this pattern! 😍

It’s such an amazing pattern, there’s so much attention to detail, and so much detailed instruction, I was able to complete my Hambo in such a surprisingly quick amount of time! I’m so happy with how he came out, and I can’t wait to use the pattern again, and create a whole collection of Hambos! 🥹

Hercules Beetle 🪲
• Pollinator Party Week 2 - butterflies, moths & beetles •

It was so difficult to choose just one pollinator to make this week, I might still make a moth for myself, though! I knew I wanted to make a beetle, though, as I think they’re so fascinating, and had no idea they were pollinators! I found out that they pollinate by clambering over flowers and blossoms to feed on the pollen and nectar, and as they enjoy their lunch, the pollen clings to their legs and is transferred on as they explore. Isn’t that the cutest thing ever?! 😭

And here’s a fun fact:
🪲It is estimated that Hercules Beetles can carry up to 850x their own mass! To put that into perspective for you, that would be like the average human carrying around 70 tons! 💪

I had so much fun making this guy, and to make it even better, it’s a 3-in-1 pattern, so I’ll definitley be making more!

I had so much fun testing this magnificently whimsical pattern by ! A pattern that combined so many of my favourite things: frogs, mushrooms, and all round whimsy! ✨

It’s such a quick and easy to make pattern, and you’re left with the most perfect cottagecore cutie! There’s so much opportunity for different colour schemes - just have a look at the other amazing testers for inspiration! 💭

I had so much fun testing, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity. I highly recommend this pattern, it’s made by the nicest designer, so please check out her other patterns, too! 💚

I was so excited to take part in this month long appreciation for the little guys who put in the hardest work - pollinating our planet! Now, as a severe sufferer of hayfever, you might think I’d be opposed to their hard work, but I’m not! I love pollinators and the work they put in! After all, I can take an antihistamine any time! 🤧

I hope this month you can take the time to think about all the hard work these little guys are putting in to make sure our planet stays pollinated! It’s a lot of hard work, so if you ever see a bumblebee on the pavement struggling, give that little guy a sugary drink of water! 💪

💭 Here’s a fun fact about bees: the bumblebee has a brain the size of a poppy seed! 🌱 Which is insane given the fact scientists have managed to train them to score a goal in ‘bee football’ in return for a sugary treat! 🍬

Pick-your-Flower Shell Turtle 🐢🌹🌻🌼

This little turtle has a secret… his shell is completely removable! And these are just some of his outfits! He’s told me that he needs a little help choosing his outfits, so it would be easier if you guys could pick and choose his shells for him! 💭

He’ll be making his market debut at my stall this Saturday, where you can choose your turtle, and his shell! A fully customisable new friend for you to take home! 🐢

I was so overjoyed to have gotten the opportunity to test this incredibly cute pattern designed by recently! This was the absolute cutest set of patterns I had EVER seen, and I knew I had to test them - they fit my vibe so well! 💚

This is one of the most detailed and well written patterns I’ve had the chance to use; there are so many pictures and descriptions for each individual detail, it made crocheting these babies so simple! They’re so quick to make, and once you’ve finished one, you have to make more! 🪵

I highly recommend this pattern, it’s everything rolled into one: cute, simple, beginner friendly, and leaves you with a cosy plushie at the end! 🫶

Thank you so much to the creator for allowing me to test, I’ve had so much fun, and this is definitely a pattern I’ll keep returning to! 🍄🪵💚🫶

Crochet Football ⚽️

The third and final of my recent gift commissions! I freehanded this for my other brother-in-law, who (as you might guess) loves football! I on the other hand, do not, and had no clue how many pentagons and hexagons make up one football! ⚽️

I love how this turned out, you can still kick it around and play, but it also means you’re less likely to break something (or someone) indoors! It’s also quite cuddly, too - an added bonus! 🤩

I really loved making this and would love the opportunity to make more one day! 🫶

Taco-Rex! 🌮🦖

The second of third gifts I was recently “commissioned” to make! I love these food dinosaurs, and as does my brother-in-law, so making him one of these was inevitable! 🌮

I LOVED making this, I love all the options for different ingredients, and he came out a lot bigger than I thought he would! Considering that there’s a fair bit more sewing than I usually do, you go through it so fast, and the end piece is so so worth it! 😍

As you can see, I weighed the tail down so he can stand (and explore) and I really love how this tasty T-Rex turned out! I might need to make the rest! 🤔
