Back on the South Sheilds project.

Due to UPVc replacement windows being added to the project and a 10 day delay while waiting for them to be delivered I’m nearly back on track.

Going to be a very busy week. Finishing off the kitchen installation, tiling bathroom and fitting new toilet and basin.
All internal doors to be undercoated, glossed and fitted. a few touch ups where required and then prep for carpets that are being fitted next Monday ready to hand back to the landlord.

What a week on the South Sheilds project.

After 2 days of scrubbing walls and woodwork clean to remove years of grime I was able to get painting. All woodwork prepped and undercoated, then multiple coats of white emulsion on the walls and ceilings to cover what was left of the smoke stains. Sometimes I do regret working on my own.

Look out for next week’s update as the new windows and kitchen are to be installed. Hopefully on track to finish and hand over to the client on the 31st.

First few days of a larger than normal job.

Started clearing out and preparing for a complete refurbishment of a one bedroom flat in South Shields. Scope of works include. Full new kitchen, new UPVC windows, complete re-decoration along with the fitting new LVT flooring in kitchen and bathroom and carpets elsewhere. Watch out for next weeks update and photos.
