Just walking through Redcliffe Gardens after a great morning, quoted one job, and just booked in 3 brand new timber box sash windows just down the road.

So many period homes round here still fighting draughty old sashes, black mold on the frames, condensation, noise from the street.

🪳A one bedroom rental on Ackmar Road in Parsons Green had a problem that started small and got worse every winter 🥶

Rot in a windowsill doesn't stay in the windowsill. It spreads.

That's what had happened to a rental flat on Ackmar Road in Parsons Green.

The bay window's original single glazed sashes had rotten sills, and that rot had let damp creep into the wall underneath.

Brown stains and black mold..

We replaced all three sash windows in the angled bay with new timber double glazed box sash windows, made to match the originals for the conservation area.

Same horns, same proportions, properly sorted this time.
No more rot, no more damp, no more mould.

We were back on Burton Road in Brixton recently for a family we'd worked with before.

Last time we worked on few of their sash windows. This time it was the three that were left, and a baby on the way meant it needed doing properly and soon.

The old single glazed sashes had rotted sills letting damp into the brickwork, and mold building up on the timber every winter.

We replaced them with double glazed timber box sashes, matched to the Victorian originals so the house still looks right from the street.

Warmer, drier, quieter. Exactly how you want it before a new arrival 🤱
