It's still got some finishing touches to do, e.g. smarten up the solder, add the lead around the edges and cement, but I couldn't resist showing off this piece that myself and
Elisabeth have been working on since the start of the year. It started as a Community project in Swansea Community Workshops, Swansea High Street, but that quickly became just the two of us, working on it once or twice a week. Elisabeth created the design and we used it as as way of using up the smaller pieces of scrap/cullet glass. As soon as the finishing touches have been added, look out for it in the window of Swansea Community Workshops, 208 High Street, Swansea. While your there, don't be shy - ring the bell, come in and have a look round. It's like a Tardis with rooms doing pottery, glass, woodwork and textiles. Look forward to seeing you.
