A well-designed utility room should make everyday life feel easier.

Positioned between the garden and the rest of the home, it provides a practical place to remove garden-worn boots, clean gardening tools or wash muddy paws before the mess reaches the main kitchen.

“The initial design proposal that we received was actually a million miles away from what we had thought.”

Sometimes, the best designs begin by challenging the original idea.

For this Wiltshire project, the clients first imagined a wine wall. What followed was the transformation of an underused dining room into a contemporary home bar with its own atmosphere, identity and sense of occasion.

With Rimadesio Zenit shelving, a bespoke wine wall, ZINK worktops, slatted oak panelling and beautifully subtle lighting, the finished space became far more than they first expected.

A wonderful evening last night as we had the pleasure of welcoming some of the Award winners to our Wiltshire design studio.
