✨ NEW 6-WEEK CERAMICS BLOCK – STARTING THURSDAY 4TH JUNE ✨

Eastcott Studios | 6.30–8.30pm

A relaxed, beginner-friendly pottery course where you’ll learn handbuilding techniques step by step and create your own ceramic pieces in a supportive studio space.

No experience needed, just come and get stuck in 🤗

⭐️ What we’ll cover:

Week 1: Pinch pots

Weeks 2-3: Slab building + coiling

Week 4: Finishing pieces / developing your own style

Weeks 5-6: Glazing your fired pieces

You’ll leave with a small collection of handmade work and a real sense of progress each week.

Pricing:

✨ £18 per session (drop-in)

Includes making or glazing a piece using the weekly techniques

🌿 OR £100 for the full 6-week block

Best value + recommended if you want to follow the full creative journey.

Spaces are limited and sessions can get busy.

✨️ She’s complete ✨️

Now she begins her own journey. First across the Ocean to New York, and then to Hawaii, where she’ll stand as an Ancestral Altar at a retreat for Artists and Healers. It feels very surreal to know something shaped by my own hands will be woven into someone’s sacred lineage 🥹

This piece has taken so much out of me and given just as much back and has been one of the biggest and most meaningful pieces I’ve ever created, and knowing she’ll be part of someone’s Ancestral practice brought quite a responsibility I felt at every stage of the make.

I was genuinely honoured to be trusted with making something so personal. There were moments where I was in pure Flow and then times that squeezed every ounce of patience and focus out of me; blood, sweat and definitely a few tears!! All the emotions you feel when creating something so special for someone else!

I've recently learnt this (Thanks to my role at beautiful Ruskin Mill) which I kept reminding myself of.
“What is Perfect belongs to the Gods; what is Human is becoming. Creation lives in that becoming.” - Rudolf Steiner

As she evolved through each stage, I did too. She’s ended up exactly how she needed to, and now it’s time for her to head off and do what she was made for.

And to the wonderful woman in New York who asked me to create this - Thank you for trusting me with something so personal. It really has meant a lot. I’m quite proud of her 🩵💜

Two absolutely delightful groups to have at Eastcott Studios today! The first group for a Pottery experience day at 10.30-3.30; doing a mix of handbuilding and throwing and were LOVELY!!! They wanted me in the pic too, which was lush!

Some fantastic pieces made! Some very happy ladies!

2nd group was a wonderful family of 10 women from various generations, and 5 did pot throwing whilst 5 were painting pots, then we swapped over for the painters to go on the wheel and the wheel throwers to do some Slab building!

A fantastic day was had by all!! (Me included!)
