Turned a beautiful piece of Oak into 2 Goosemoor Cottages, full custom design, flying geese with moorland grass detail.

They supplied the board with pre drilled holes, I did the rest. Bespoke house signs / custom woodwork — get in touch for your quote!

This Saturday, 5th September, Braemar of Tockwith will be back at the fantastic Knaresborough Artisan Market at Knaresborough Castle! 🏰

Come and have a browse through a brilliant selection of handcrafted, locally made goodies, including our unique oak and hardwood creations, beautiful gifts and our latest pieces from the Braemar workshop.

It’s a great opportunity to shop local, support independent makers and pick up something genuinely handmade. ❤️

🪵 When quality matters…

We’ve just completed these bespoke oak room key tags for Park House Bed & Breakfast in Ingleby Arncliffe.

The team at Park House had previously ordered room keys elsewhere, but unfortunately the quality wasn't up to the standard they were looking for.

So they came to Braemar of Tockwith — and we were more than happy to put that right. ❤️

Each key has been individually made from solid oak, carefully shaped, sanded and engraved with the names of their beautiful rooms:

🌿 Robin Hoods Bay

There's something really satisfying about taking a simple piece of timber and turning it into something that's going to be used and enjoyed by guests every day.

A new addition to the Braemar collection ❤️

I've been working on this personalised solid oak height chart, and I'm really pleased with how this one has turned out.

Handmade from beautiful solid oak and engraved right here in the Braemar workshop, each one takes quite a bit of time and care to produce.

Because of the 1.4m length, the engraving has to be completed in sections and carefully aligned to create the finished piece.

A little Braemar creation is making its way from Tockwith all the way down to Sussex! 🌳🔨

This bespoke oak and copper stand was handcrafted here at Braemar of Tockwith, combining solid oak with copper pipework and industrial-style fittings.

Another completely one-off piece made to order and now off to its new home. 🚚📦

It’s always brilliant knowing that things I make in the workshop are finding homes all over the country. ❤️
