Wonderstitches is a soft furnishing company based in London Twickenham. We have a highly skilled team of curtain makers with an absolute passion for soft furnishings. Creativity is at the heart of our team thus we care about our work. It goes beyond just stitching, cutting and sewing. We don’t just “make” curtains, blinds or upholstery…instead we contribute to better living!...but how do you ask?

Well first we understand that every time a customer picks up the phone to ring us they have a reason for doing so. They are looking to resolve or improve a situation in their lives. Some have just moved into a lovely new home and want to create their dream living room or bedroom! Others have entered a new chapter in their lives and wish to re-create their environment to reflect their new bliss. Yet some may be in dis-comfort with their current situation and require a better solution be it an alteration, repair or recycle! Not to mention our service to the trade including award winning interior designers & architects. No matter what the specific reason for reaching out to us, we see it as our duty to serve. We understand that our customers have a need to better their lives in some way. Our team is highly reputable in the industry for their wondrous finishing touch. Our aim is to provide all in one complete soft furnishing solutions tailored to our customers needs. All work is undertaken in our 1200sq feet workroom which comes equipped with the highest standard machinery, tools and essentials needed to produce quality work. We specialise in Bespoke made to measure Curtains, Drapes made to order, Roman blinds, Venetian blinds, Roller blinds, Vertical blinds, Track & Pole fittings, Pelmets, Cushion covers, Bespoke bedding, Curtain alterations & Upholstery services. We don't believe in a faceless service therefore with us you will receive a personal one on one service. All work is hand-made by a member of our team whom you will meet. We do not out source work to a third party like many other companies do, which means the end result will be accurate to our measurements so you can be sure no further alterations will be needed and no further money will be spent. We take great pride in our work because our reputation is really important to us which is why we aim to deliver quality and service to our customers every time. The clients said it felt like a boutique luxury hotel… and honestly, we couldn’t have described this transformation any better!
This Teddington living room has been completely reimagined.

The existing vertical blinds (swipe to the last photo) had served their purpose, but they felt tired, dated and gave the space a very commercial feel.
Our clients wanted warmth, softness and a more luxurious atmosphere.

We replaced them with beautifully flowing voile wave curtains using fabric from , paired with fully interlined wave curtains in a stunning striped fabric from .

The result? A room that feels elegant, layered and effortlessly sophisticated from every angle.

The photographs look beautiful, but they still don’t capture the true impact of this transformation. The difference in the room was remarkable the moment the curtains were drawn.

The best part was hearing our clients’ reaction:

“It feels like we’re staying in a boutique luxury hotel.”

Early bird at the workroom this morning…

Starting on a beautiful set of bespoke Roman blinds for a lovely project in Hampton using these timeless striped linens from The Pure Edit. Soft blue tones snd warm ochre stripes — classic, fresh and effortlessly elegant.

Small window, big impact !

One of my favourite parts is dressing the curtains by hand at the end — shaping every pleat until everything hangs just right
These bespoke inverted pleat curtains were handmade and fitted for a beautiful home in Teddington.
The fabric falls so effortlessly, creating a relaxed but refined look that works beautifully with the warm tones of the room.

A little detail can completely transform a curtain… and this beautiful scalloped leading edge trim was such a fun one to work with

We recently made and fitted these gorgeous bespoke curtains for a beautiful home in Barnes, finished with a stunning leading edge trim that adds the perfect touch of character and sophistication.

I absolutely loved working with this trim.
Seeing it come together along each fold and edge was so much fun. And my favourite part, as always, is doing the final touches by hand to make sure every pleat hangs perfectly and every detail is just right.
