Landel Ceramics I am a hobby potter based in Wellington, Shropshire.

Having learnt pottery techniques during covid I now sell my wares at local craft fayres and at Nicol Studios in Wellington.

Trying something new with porcelain… white, turquoise and blue, marbling together as I throw. It’s true what they say that porcelain is like throwing with cream cheese lol. I’ve learnt to treat it gently, as it’s a temperamental beast! Not too much water or it’ll flop… not enough water or it’ll snag.. and not too many pulls or it’ll flop! Trimming the slip off reveals the marbling underneath, and it should pop even more with clear glaze on top!
