Up for Auction on my Ebay page is this fascinating Coalport calendar from 2000. It is complete is a collectors item.and has detachable images of Coalport items for you to frame and display.

The calendar was published to coincide with the 250. It includes £250 of vouchers which are obviously now defunct. So why would anyone want a calendar from 26 years ago?. This is a must for anyone studying design or lovers of pottery and porcelain.

This is a magnificent hand card piece of tribal art, fully three dimensional. Originated probably in East or Central Africa and depicts a male (possible warrior) with a water bottle or powder keg suspended on a strap round his neck. The detail on this is stunning.

Hewn from a single piece of hardwood, it is very heavy and the nett weight is 2.488kg. It stands 28cm high, 18cm wide and 18cm deep.

This is definitely a statement piece for the right setting.

This vintage butter dish with a fruit pattern depicting Apple and strawberries, was manufactured on behalf of Coloroll by Grimwades (Staffordshire) using the pattern made famous by another of the companies, Royal Winton. It is free of chips, cracks or marks in the glaze.

This stunning pair of bottle coasters , obviously silver plated and well used as there is evidence of plating loss on the raised areas. Each comes with a wooden base (green baize underneath to protect the tables). What makes then stunning, is the central plated cartouche of the Scottish Clan Davidson. With the latin family motto “SAPIENTER SI SINCERE” which translated means “Wisely If Sincere.

With the exception of the plating loss, they are a magnificent item to have and to hold and the detail when new would have been amazing.

The items measure 7 ½” diameter x 2 ¼” High.
They are now on their way to their new forever home.

At just £115.99 This is a wonderful pair of glass decanters with silver hallmarks for London 1936. Manufactured by Preece & Willicombe (1934 – 1971), Wilmington Square, London, WC1.

Measurements are 7” Overall Height x 5” Overall Diameter. Total Nett Weight is 2.9Kg

There are no chips, cracks or marks in the glass.
