I found myself thinking about the word circle the other day … wondering what the collective noun for women might be. And then I discovered: a harmony of women.
It stopped me in my tracks, because that is exactly what Sunday felt like… and what I felt at my Autumn Equinox mugwort circle, and also during a women’s embodiment photoshoot I recently took part in.
A harmony.
That vibration that rises when women come together with a shared purpose ….connection, creativity, presence.
It’s why I call these gatherings circles: non-hierarchical, ancient, familiar. Women have been sitting together like this for lifetimes, and when we do, something shifts. There’s a softness. A remembering. A kind of healing that doesn’t need to be spoken….a feeling of being held, heard, nourished.
So often I hear, “I really needed this… life has been so busy,” or “This was the first deep breath I’ve had all week.”
And that’s the magic I want to hold …a space where the world slows down, shoulders drop, and the body finally exhales.
And that’s how we opened our weaving circle on Sunday morning…a quiet, slow pause to really feel our breath and then tune into more of what we’re wanting as we move into winter.
Amongst tea, chatting, home made apple crumble cake and sharing stories, our hands moved with purpose turning simple materials into something meaningful.
And I absolutely loved seeing what everyone chose to create:
• A remedy pouch for a son - to hold an essential oil rollerball
• A vegan remedy pouch lovingly made for a wife
• A wall hanging to herald a new path for 2026
• A wall hanging to adorn a bedroom
• And another to bring beauty + focus into a workspace
Little objects with big intention.
Pieces infused with meaning, care, and the energy of the morning.
My heart is still full.
Thank you to each of you who came, wove, softened, and shared the space with such presence. ✨
If you’d like to join the next circle, next dates are set and I’ll be announcing soon via my email list first. 💛
