🏡🎨 ANOTHER PROJECT COMPLETED IN WITHYHAM! 🖌️

📍 Job Location: Withyham, just outside Groombridge, East Sussex.

Another couple of rooms completed by Better Call Two Coats Paint & Decorating!

This time, I’ve been busy preparing and painting the master bedroom and main entrance stairwell ceilings in a beautiful property undergoing renovation.

The before and after photos really show what a difference a fresh coat of paint can make!

🛏️ MASTER BEDROOM

A fantastic space with high vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light.

✅ Prepared freshly plastered walls and ceilings ready for painting.

✅ Ceilings finished in Johnstone’s Ultra Flat Matt, providing a beautiful, smooth white finish.

✅ Walls finished in Little Greene – Pale Green Stone No. 268, colour-matched and mixed by Johnstone’s.

The subtle wall colour works beautifully with the bright white ceilings, giving the room a fresh, calm and elegant appearance.

🏡 MAIN ENTRANCE STAIRWELL

Another impressive space featuring a stunning vaulted ceiling, exposed oak beams and a large feature window.

✅ Prepared the freshly plastered ceiling.

✅ Painted using Johnstone’s Ultra Flat Matt for a clean, bright finish.

The crisp white ceiling really helps showcase the beautiful oak framework and architectural features.

📸 The before and after pictures speak for themselves!

There’s still work to be completed by other trades before the property is fully finished, but it’s already looking fantastic.

It’s always satisfying seeing freshly plastered rooms transformed, especially when working with interesting spaces like these!

🎨 LATEST JOB COMPLETED – TUNBRIDGE WELLS 🎨

Another transformation completed for SMF Building Contractors LTD 👌

This kitchen needed a mixture of work, with fresh plaster alongside existing previously painted walls, so everything was properly prepared to give a consistent, clean finish throughout.

🖌️ Works carried out:
• Prepared and painted all fresh plaster
• Prepared existing previously painted surfaces
• Minor filling and repairs where required
• Ceilings and remaining wall areas finished in Brilliant White
• Feature wall finished in Dulux Shaded Indigo 💙
• Detailed preparation around sockets, pipework and existing kitchen units
• Clean, crisp finish throughout

The Shaded Indigo feature wall really changes the feel of the room and gives a great contrast against the brilliant white, existing white kitchen units and wood-effect flooring.

Another one ticked off for SMF Building Contractors LTD — and another great example of how a bit of colour can completely change a space. 👌🎨

🎨 ANOTHER ONE TAKING SHAPE IN EAST PECKHAM! 🖌️

Another project for SMF Building Contractors LTD coming along nicely. We’ve been working across the newly plastered extension and giving the existing snug room a much-needed freshen up.

The fresh plaster has been prepared and painted, with the walls and ceilings finished throughout. In the snug, everything has been properly prepared, filled and made good where required, with the walls, ceiling, skirtings and boxed-in areas all given a fresh new finish. 👌

📸 Unfortunately, the lighting wasn’t the best for the finished photos, and there are still a few other trades following on behind me, so I would have liked to have shown it completely finished!

There’s still plenty happening before the whole project is wrapped up — the radiator needs hanging, carpet is still to go down and new plug sockets are being fitted in the snug.

🔥 I’ll also be revisiting once the old wood burner has been removed so I can prepare and decorate inside the fireplace recess before the new, more efficient burner is installed.

And we’re not quite finished outside either! I’ve got fresh exterior render to paint once it has fully dried and is ready for decorating — so I’m hoping this nice weather sticks around! 🤞☀️

Still, what a difference already. It’ll be great to come back and see everything together once all the finishing touches are complete.
