Spent last 5 years or so developing a new method of fitting and tools for professional floor layers .
I’ve been a floor layer for over 30 years specialising in carpet and now karndean and amtico design flooring.
We were first spotted by karndean over 12 years ago and for over a decade myself , gef parkes and son Daniel parkes did all the exhibitions in the south including
Decorex, London arena , Olympia , ideal home,alt field , Chelsea harbour material lab ,beautiful kitchens magazine , and the last exhibition at Harrogate floor show . I also went to America and met president of sales john bonney .
In between exhibitions we also did the director of Karndean’s mother in laws , then his own home then onto fitting custom flooring in one of the owners family’s home .
I’m pretty well known at both manufacturers and often work with instructors getting feedback and advice with my tools .
Needless to say we have over 100 years combined experience to offer customers and worked at the highest level in flooring in the uk .
Now my tools have achieved more than ever expected they now rely mainly on word of mouth amongst the fitting industry as one fitter shows another so this now gives me the opportunity to get back out there doing what I and the parkes boys do best and that’s fitting beautiful floors .
Primarily Tunbridge wells and surrounding areas if you’re planning on having either karndean or amtico fitted in your home then why not have the guys that worked for in the past one manufacturer and work with both manufacturers instructors today .
