What happens when you stop designing your home for other people?
When a home is only built to impress, it stops feeling like yours. The colours play it safe. It looks lovely in photos but can feel like no one really lives there.
The homes I love most say something about the people in them.
The art you couldn’t leave behind. The colour everyone told you was too much. The reading corner that only makes sense to you.
This isn’t self-indulgent, it’s the whole point.
Your home should hold your story, not someone else’s idea of what makes a good one.
So before you ask whether something impresses, ask whether it feels like you. Because that’s where it all starts.
Save this if you needed the reminder. And when you’re ready for a home that actually feels like yours, the link to book a consultation is in my bio.
