Some new bits (and new old bits) have been arriving over the last week so here begins an intro, or a reintroduction, to the wonderful creatives and makers that I share my potting shed with.
First up, Flick of Flick Skinner 🪡🧵
Based in Hove - chef by day, quilter by night - she works almost entirely in linen, which is why everything she makes is on the most heavenly side of desaturated crinkly-ness. New wallhangings are up (someone buy that star one on the first slide. But, also, don’t. 😜) alongside quilted pouches and Flick’s ‘little creatures’ - filled with lavender for your knicker drawer, but mine is going on the🎄.
I cannot tell you how much I love her and how stoked I am that our paths crossed at that Makers Market in Kemptown, when H+D was but a drafty shed with a gravel floor….
Heath + Down isn’t just for Christmas, but my god I’d appreciate you putting something from me on your list more than any of the Mr Bezos’ of this world would.
