The campervan is beginning to take shape, still got plenty to do but it's steadily coming together. We've got the heater and fridge running and starting to really look forward to getting away in it soon.

I've been making some more clocks with some beautiful locally sourced spalted beech combined with three Lake District Tweeds each with their own touch of the Lake District.

Grasmere Tweed inspired by the lead lattice windows of Dove Cottage - beloved home to William Wordsworth. While the soft green echoes the climbing foliage that frames those windows.

Eskdale Tweed is inspired by the pink tones of Eskdale granite and created from wool of sheep that graze its fells.

Langdale Tweed is inspired by the green mosaic of small fields and patchwork farmland. Woven from wool sourced from Harry Place Farm, just beneath the Langdale Pikes.

These clocks will be available from Wild Tarn in Hawkshead or you can get in touch.

I've not posted on here for a little while as I've been very busy with two birthdays last week, making chainsaw and bumblebee cakes for the little ones.

We have also been very busy trying to get our campervan conversion finished. It has been slowly happening in the evenings but now the wormer weather has arrived we are keen to give it a big push and try and get it finished so we can have lots of adventures in it soon.

With spring well and truly on its way I have been busy designing some new key hooks. This rustic piece of oak has been decorated with pyrography and watercolour paints by hand, ready for the hooks to be added. To make it a unique piece to have in your home.

I think the fox appears to be as happy to see the return of spring as me.🌼🌿πŸͺ΄πŸ¦Š

A few pictures from a day in the workshop on Friday, the begining of a few projects and some beautiful wood. I always like days where things are flowing and a lot of cogs are set in motion.

Here is a coat hook with the ridge line of The Old Man of Coniston in a mixture pencil and watercolour. It is made from local oak and has been finished with a beeswax polish.
It is currently for sale in the lovely shop Wild Tarn in Hawkshead.

A couple of new hand painted lampshades are going to in Penrith today. They are something a bit different from my usual lampshades but I'm really pleased with how they turned out. What do you think of the seals?

I've been making a few key hooks today out of some lovely bits of oak. Here is me drilling the pilot holes for the hooks to be added to this one with a chicken design.
