Longniddry Project – Master Bedroom & Ensuite

A recently completed project in Longniddry, delivering a full refinement of a master bedroom and adjoining ensuite.

Existing wall coverings were carefully removed, with all surfaces professionally relined to achieve a flawless foundation. The picture rail was removed and all areas made good.

A considered palette of soft, neutral tones was applied to enhance natural light, creating a calm, spacious and elegant environment.

Every stage of the project was carried out with precision and attention to detail, resulting in a high-quality finish and a very satisfied client.

Project Update #2 – Thirlestane Road, Marchmont, Edinburgh

It’s been a busy two weeks since our last update on the Thirlestane Road project.

We’ve now completed the ceilings down to the bottom landing, and the upper-level walls are fully finished. We’re also sharing a preview of the finished railing, carefully matched to the lower wall colour to create a clean, cohesive look throughout the space.

The past couple of weeks have involved extensive preparation work, including filling, sanding, and sealing the walls. The transformation is already clear — the space feels noticeably lighter, and residents have commented on how much more welcoming it has become.

Next week, we move on to applying the finishing coats, working all the way down to the bottom landing.

Thirlestane road project update #1

A week of hard graft, the cupola hadn't been touched in decades! Lots of time has been spent scraping the failing paint right back to the bare wood, with lots of priming sanding and filling.

During the preparation stage I found a number of small leaks which have now been sealed making the Cupola water tight again!

I'm looking forward to seeing the back of the scaffolding now and being able to get stuck into the bones of the stair!

And as you can see the apprentice has been sleeping on the job.

A long way down!

Tomorrow is the start of our Thirlestane road stair redecoration project, I'm really looking forward to getting my teeth stuck into the project.

I will be transforming this tired previously unloved stair into a warm welcoming entrance to the residents homes!

"A day is a long time in decorating."

Today consisted of banishing the blue! All ceilings, walls and woodwork sanded down, dusted and coated up. We are now ready to do some final snag filling and caulking on Monday and to get the job finished!

Started a new exciting new project today in Longniddry today, a full refurb of a detached bungalow.

Stripped wallpaper from the guest room and office, All cleared now and ready for heavy prep work before lining.
