This classic G-Plan Long John sideboard is a classic piece of mid century furniture. Lovingly prepared for sale with a clean, wax and polish.

Beautifully designed and crafted teak sideboard manufactured by G-Plan in the late 1960s.

Featuring contrasting solid teak door and drawer handles, one large bank of 4 drawers with cutlery insert in top drawer, large cupboard to the left and pull down bar to the right and a stunning solid teak swooping base.

The sideboard has a lovely patina which has developed beautifully over time.

This rather neglected bow fronted Victorian mahogany chest of drawers found its way into the workshop before Christmas. It needed a lot of repairs, including re-attaching the top, securing the side mouldings, replacement of veneer on the rails and veneer to the edge of the top, matching in a turned handle, replacement feet, repair of drawer bottoms, rebuilding the drawer runners and the runners within the carcass, replacing the plinth and finally, a clean and wax!

The client did not want this piece to be over restored, which we do see all too often, so I was extremely happy to hand this over having completed sympathetic repairs, in keeping with the period.

Another recent project is this Victorian table with drawer.

This is a good sized Victorian farmhouse table which I have applied an ebonised paint to the base and legs. It can seat up to 8 people and has a good sized draw at one end.

Great condition and very sturdy
Ideal for a kitchen or dining room.

I am always happy to take on a slightly different project and last week I replaced some gates for a client in Martlesham. These Scandinavian Pine sturdy gates were fitted with replacement posts. Finished in a clear varnish and furnished with a strong lock. Before and afters below.
