The CEO of Characteristic Arts & Crafts has officially relocated operations to the outdoor branch office due to favourable weather conditions. ☀️

Current productivity levels are being closely monitored and appear to be directly linked to the availability of Cherry Coke Zero. 🥤

Today's agenda includes: 🧶 Completing a wholesale order 🌸 Enjoying the sunshine 📖 Attempting to finish early enough to read a book before dinner

Further updates will be provided should the CEO become distracted by birds, flowers, or the overwhelming temptation to sit and do absolutely nothing.

🦉 A Farewell from Archimedes 🦉

After many months of supervising markets, watching over the Adoption Station, judging customers from my perch, and posing for countless photographs...

I have finally found my forever home. 💙

I would like to thank everyone who stopped to say hello, admired my feathers, considered my adoption, and shared my journey over the past few months.

Whilst I shall miss my fellow stall companions, I am pleased to report that I will be living a life of comfort, admiration, and hopefully the occasional biscuit.

Firstly, thank you to everyone who visited Characteristic Arts & Crafts over the last two weeks at Broomhill and Sandbank Gala.

Whether you purchased something, stopped to chat, shared a post, or simply admired the stall, your support means the world. 💜

After a busy few weeks of markets, Carrina is taking some time to focus on custom orders, online orders, and crochet lessons before our next event.

📅 Next Market: Kirn Gala 📍 Dunoon Grammar School 🗓 27th August

Now for the important news...
Despite my best efforts at looking handsome, wise, and extremely adoptable, I somehow still haven't found my forever home! 🦉
I shall therefore be attending Kirn Gala in the hope that Stall 11 proves to be my lucky number.

Until then, custom orders and crochet lessons remain open. If you'd like to commission a handmade creation, enquire about lessons, or reserve something special, simply send a message for availability.

Thank you again for supporting handmade, supporting local businesses, and supporting this slightly homeless owl.

We're all set up and ready to go at the Sandbank Gala! 🎉

The stalls are looking fantastic, the weather is behaving itself, and it's shaping up to be a fabulous day for the whole family.

I'll be here from 11am - 4pm at Sandbank Primary School with a huge selection of crochet plushies, Forever Flora arrangements, blankets, accessories and plenty of familiar faces from the Adoption Station... plus a few brand new arrivals! 👀

There are lots of wonderful stallholders setting up as we speak, along with entertainment and activities happening throughout the day, so there's plenty to see and do.

If you're heading along, make sure to pop by and say hello – I'd love to see some familiar faces! 💜

🌸 Sandbank Gala – Saturday 6th June 🌸

I'll be at Sandbank Primary School from 11am - 4pm with a huge selection of crochet plushies, Forever Flora flowers, accessories, gifts, and some brand new creations making their market debut! 🧶💐✨

And of course Archimedes will be in attendance for his 10th Market!!! Here's hoping he finds a nice home 🏡 🙏

The Sandbank Gala is going to be a fantastic day out, with lots of amazing stall holders, entertainment, activities, and plenty to see and do for all ages.

If you're looking for a fun family day out, come along and say hello! I can't wait to see some familiar faces and meet lots of new ones too. 💕
