A bit of a busy weekend means that I forgot to post yesterday!
I was up early, put the slow cooker on with the nettles from Saturday in it, taught my usual Sunday morning class, went for a walk with Fluffy Puppy and her bestie then to th for a cuppa. When I finally got back home I finished the pdfs for this morning - but forgot to schedule them!
Last night I settled for for early, crocheted leaves and stiched some to the jacket. I also assed my byline to the cloud!

Yesterday I decided that I need to get back out into the garden each day. Partly because the garden needs it and partly because I do. Apart from the fact that my aching body was constantly telling me "You are not 27 anymore!", I was generally feeling better both mentally and physically during the summer - and I have a new patio!
This morning I got up with full intentions of getting into the garden and, wouldn't you just know it, it was rainining. However, the reason for going out in the mornings was to beat the heat. I turned my day up-side-down, finished the video I had messed up, went for my lunch date and went out in the garden this afternoon.I have started clearing the top part of the lawn and took up some of the edging stones so that the lawn can spread into the old wildflower patch. .

Between a very restless night last night and getting out in the garden this morning, I am flagging rather early this evening. The puter is going off early and I am settling down for . I will be working on my jacket until I fall asleep. The tree branches are almost finished, just a couple that have been penciled in need on, then I have lots more leaves to crochet.

I have REALLY missed the garden and, judging by the state of it, the garden has missed me. I planned to go and clear some of the old patch yesterday afternoon but it did not happen. However, I did go out there briefly about 5.30pm to dig up some of the bigger plants as the was being emptied today. It took longer than I thought and, by the time I had finished, it was too dark to take a pic.
This morning I woke up, saw the sun and decided to go out again. I had brekkie, put my gardening clothes and boots on, went outside and heard my bin being emptied. It is now about 1/3rd full again and there are a lot less weeds in the garden.

Originally published as my first CAL in 2017, this particular version of has been on the go since April 2022. When I started stocking Wendy Wools I decided to make a new version for in the shop to promote the yarn. It didn't happen.
However, I am now on a mission to republish as a CAL for it's 10th anniversary in January 2027 - complete with videos!
