Evicting the residents of this chimney in preparation of installing a stove!

A super fireplace on super Sunday!

The client brief was to create a stone inglenook fireplace. We designed and built this from start to finish

-removed existing windows
-opened floor, added footings and damp proof course
-created a random stone inglenook with log stores and alcoves
-installed Esse 700 Vista stove and flue

Here is some recent work that we carried out, installing a wood burning cooker. We opened up the existing fireplace and fitted the flue liner and cooker and finished it off with stone shelf and corbels. All ready for the decorators to come in!

Fitting of another Esse multi fuel stove.

Creating an opening within the existing chimney breast, we stoned the reveals and fitted the stone surround and hearth. This was tastefully finished with a solid oak mantel piece
