Because one of us is so easily sidetracked, instead of creating art they spent time playing with their new uv light and looked thru our sea glass "treasure" looking for glowing sea glass. Here are a few samples discovered from our sea glass collection. There were many pinks as well as yellow/green and blue but they were difficult to photograph. Also attached is an interesting article from Beachcombing Magazine about UV sea glass.

This piece incorporates shells, pebbles, sea pottery, and sea tumbled glass in the colours discovered on the shore with the exception of red paint on the roses and yellow paint on the Dracaena Trifasciata (snake plant, mil's tongue). There truly is an amazing amount of colour variation in natural sea tumbled glass as you can see here.

We imagined something like this piece would fit nicely inside a lovely new plant shop in Ventnor. Stop by and see if you agree with us! 😁
