1 year later 🌱 ~ Weeds are just flowers in the wrong place right?! My ‘rewilded’ / self seeded front garden.

When we moved in this front garden was a dumping ground - metal, bin bag piles of rubbish, wire, thick brambles. Horrible.

I cleared all of the rubbish, dug up the stubborn and controlling brambles and…

Just left it.

In my procrastination and lack of commitment to a cherry tree or proper landscaping - this wild garden grew of its own accord! So many foxgloves and Ox eye daises!

I did dig in a creeping Rosemary and I have a pot of Lavender and a Hydrangea - and a few Hollyhocks on the way. But this natural and playful garden has mainly grown itself and I love it. I have very fastidious neighbours on one side who I am sure aren’t keen…

I’m not sure I can bring myself to dig it all through and put something contrived and uniform this year…I am just watching the space.

About Time 💕🌸🌞I always wanted to be a designer - Back in the day I wanted a white board and the delicious smell of markers as my working playground - but computers happened in between… I still draw freehand with a pen albeit digital!

I launch a new print 6 times a year. It takes me about a month to research, illustrate and refine a new piece and then another month to test print, shoot and shout about it.

This is my income. It utterly scares me I don’t know why I keep doing it. In fact I don’t know how my nerves have managed being self employed for 23 years! 😂

💕But you, your support has enabled me to get faster, bolder, more colourful! Paid my rent and encouraged me to do more! I still can’t believe this is my job…
