Block July number 7 for the free BOM 2025.
I am using my scrap Christmas fabrics for this quilt and this month fussy cut the centre square. I feel my care and attention in sewing pieces together is really improving. Thanks for the tips and videos

Happy Hours Stitches BOM 2025 May block number 5

Just can't wait for 1st month for my next free mystery quilt block pattern.

As I am in the UK my email usually lands just after lunchtime. But you can bet my sewing machine, cutting mat and iron are all set out ready.

I get to finish it by the end of the day

Happy Hour Stitches free BOM 2025. Block number 6 for June.



I love this block so much. As I am using my Christmas fabric stash I can't always follow the tones and shades. I think the outer centre here is both solid with the star pop. A careful look shows a seam in my red fabric as I was just short of half an inch but wanted to use it for the star. A true stash block

The March block from BOM 2025. I am just loving putting these blocks together. The discipline of cutting and pressing and the new tips I learn along the way.
I can't wait for 1st of the month for my email to drop. Then the fun of selecting fabrics from my Christmas stash. I tend to try to follow the tones of the fabrics Lindsay has selected. This way I learn more about fabric choices when combining fabrics from different designers.

January BOM from Happy Hour Stiches free BOM for 2025. My own choice of fabrics. I am making a Christmas fabric scrap quilt.Have small errors on two flying geese points but I can correct those when sewing my quilt up.
Can't wait for February.
