Late night sign making for some upcoming fayres 😍💜

Since going back to my ‘everyday’ job after the summer holidays, I’ve found it difficult to find the energy or time to work on my glass 😢.

That being said….a productive afternoon soldering. These are all waxed and waiting a polish 🧽.

Hot off the press 📚😉.

I’ve made quite a few of these designs in the past and they have been quite popular but I have a special collab with another local maker coming up - keep watching 🤩.

This is my copper foiling ‘station’.

The ‘lap’ tray is from Hobbycraft and has compartments to hold my tools, cleaning cloths and copper foil tape backing/rubbish.

It’s handy to take to different areas other than my workshop - I usually sit in front of the TV or listen to music doing my copper foiling jobs 😊.

Here I have some lily pads, books and paws ready to solder 🪷📚🐾.

Eeeeeek!!!!!

My Golden Knee tarantula had a tank upgrade today 🕷️🖤😍.

I’ve had her since she was a tiny microscopic ‘dot’, bought home from the pet shop in a Petri dish.

If any of my fellow stained glass artists have any cool spider patterns - let me know as I’m a little obsessed with them 🕷️😊

Always amazed how different glass looks with and without light shining through. Both versions are cosmic ✨🌙🖤🩶🤍
