Morning morning !!! Meet Megan. I painted her a couple of weeks ago, and is now safe to show off since it's been gifted. I was told that Dad was grinning from ear to ear, so I'm guessing he loved it lol.
Megan was painted on a size 25 x 30 cm slate and has now taken pride of place outside Park View

Realy enjoying my latest kitties, I've got 3 on the go 2 of which I can't show just yet . I had a couple of attempts at the sunsets which I didn't like so sanded everything off and started again with fresh eyes . Im loving how they turned out . Aww, I'm sad to hear Beautiful Misty has now crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the grand old age of 17. He was also known as Shadow, as he was always a step behind anyone who visited. I have drawn this sweet boy a couple of times and have always enjoyed drawing him.

Had so much fun with these 20x30-inch house plaques. Do let me know if you'd like something similar. My next available slot is mid october. I'm off to paint a doggy house plaque and make a start on some free-standing kitties. I've got 3 to paint, nothing i can show off until they've been gifted. Good evening, lovelies.
How are you finding this cooler weather? Brian gave me that look earlier when I shut the window — the breeze felt a tad chilly to me,

Meet Rogue and Rambo — aren’t they just the cutest pair? I’ve had the pleasure of drawing them several times now, and they never fail to make me smile.

This piece was created with my trusty Prismacolor pencils on 12x16 inch black Stonehenge paper, which is made from 100% cotton and perfect for rich, vibrant colour. I used a handful of lovely photos for reference, I added a purple blanket as it's a beautiful contrast to the fur colour and Rambos collar.

I’ve only got a couple of slots left for drawings or paintings to be finished in time for the big C, so if you’re thinking of a special gift, now’s the moment to give me a nudge.

I’ll be around for a while this evening catching up — give me a little wave if you spot me. And you’re more than welcome to share my work with your friends; I’d love to reconnect with some of my old followers from Shirley’s Pencil Art.

I've got these cheeky little raskles to keep me busy . Im working from several photos and found 2 that go pretty well together. Going to be CUTE.

PS if like me you use Prismacolor pencils with them being wax based they do go quite soft which is good for some parts of the drawing, but if needing a sharp point try popping them in the fridge or freezer for a while they will soon firm back up ###

Hi everyone!! Hope all is well with you. Sorry, I've not been around much. I had a week of house, dog, cat, fish sitting last week, which I thoroughly enjoyed 4 dogs and 6 cats kept me busy and was a hard job eeping them quiet when we had that amazing storm the other night , did you have it?
Hears something that i have been chipping away at over the last few weeks. I think its finished, although i may add a few more critters at a later date or will it be overkill? What do you think? I'll add some close-ups underneath for you to have a gander at . I thoroughly enjoyed having a good old doodle. I used mostly Prismacolor pencils and a touch of acrylic paint. I've added a some pearlescent paint to the kingfishers and the dragonflies. Hope you like it. I've decided just to call it Another Woodland Wonder. I'm really chuffed with my trees; I've never really mastered them.
Next i have a run of requests that I'm juggeling whilst waiting on photos, and I really need to stock up on some slates, my mojo up and I went with some stuff we've been dealing with, it's getting there on the quiet and getting used to the new norm.
Hope that you are enjoying the good weather its soooo lovely to have some sunshine.
Anyways I'm waffling on and ive still lots to do before the day job .

Slowly getting there . Im going some acrylic in some parts just to make some of the colours pop. Certain colours are hard to layer on black ,i might use some neocolors and pastels aswell. Oh blow it ill chuck what ever I have at it lol . Hope all is good with everyone, have a great day and ill catch you later x
