Along with your successes it is also worth recognising your failures! The lid on this beautiful mango box has warped quite badly probably because the moisture content was too high at the start. Shame as it was so nice. I will make a different style of lid for it and see how it turns out 🤷♟️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Available to buy. £175. A really nice set in African black wenge wood and spalted maple. Wenge is a beautiful wood with subtle black and dark brown markings that is extremely hard and quite difficult to work. There may therefore be some tiny tool marks visible. The board has beautiful glass foil backed tiles (48mm sq) and is also framed in black wenge. This set would match up nicely with the humbug box I have listed here. An absolute steal at £175 (not including the box). ♟️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
