Small business update: We got a result! 🥳💌

I wanted to share a quick follow-up to my post from the other day about the delayed, looped, and ultimately broken parcel. I got in touch with Royal Mail and they have officially responded to admit they didn’t meet their standards on this occasion. They are issuing a compensation cheque for the service failure! 🤗🎉

While a cheque doesn’t bring back the time, care, and love put into making the original handmade items, I am so glad they took accountability for what happened.

So, I am SO happy to say that I have already remade, packed up, and sent out the brand-new replacement pieces! 🛠️💝

More than anything, I want to say a massive THANK YOU to my wonderful customer for being so incredibly patient and understanding, and to all of you for the overwhelming love and support on my last post. Navigating the highs and lows of running a small business isn’t always easy, but having a community like this on Facebook makes the hard days so much easier to handle. 🤍

Small business reality 😔📦

I had a parcel sent with Royal Mail that was delayed for days, kept showing as if my client “wasn’t home,” and ended up going in circles before finally arriving…

Only for half of the order to arrive broken 💔

So much time, care, and love goes into handmade items, and it’s honestly heartbreaking when this happens — especially knowing how excited customers are waiting for their orders.
