Cobbett House Has a Fresh New Look!

We’re thrilled to share that Cobbett House in Warminster has undergone a major renovation! Our communal lounge, kitchen, bathroom, guest room, and reception area have all been refreshed to create a modern, welcoming space for residents and guests.

These upgrades mean better facilities and more room to relax or connect. Plus, our new communal areas are now available for hire for social events, community groups, and gatherings.

✨ Beautiful Herringbone Transformation ✨
Another stunning project completed — and what a difference it’s made to this home!

We began by preparing the subfloor using F. Ball 1200 latex smoothing compound, ensuring a perfectly smooth and even base ready for installation. Getting the foundation right is key — it guarantees the longevity and flawless finish of the floor above.

Once the subfloor was fully smooth and ready, we installed this herringbone LVT (luxury vinyl tile) tight to the existing skirting, creating a seamless flow through the hallway and into the kitchen. The precision and attention to detail really shine through — every cut, angle, and alignment was carefully planned to make sure the pattern ran beautifully from room to room.

The warm oak tones of the LVT complement the light cabinetry and yellow walls perfectly, bringing a cozy yet sophisticated look to the space. It’s durable, easy to maintain, and looks every bit as good as real wood — ideal for busy areas like kitchens and hallways.

🛠️ Additional Work:
Whilst at the property, we also repaired a section of the subfloor and fitted a black and white vinyl floor, as seen in the pictures, to perfectly match the existing bathroom aesthetics.

Projects like this show how the right preparation and materials make all the difference. From smoothing to laying, everything was done to the highest standard — and the results speak for themselves!
