🍂🦔 A little look back at our last workshops before half term! 🎃🦇

Our Monday and Tuesday groups got well and truly into the autumn spirit! 🍁

We created some very cute autumn hedgehogs using poke art, with lots of colourful, silky paper squares, before getting Halloween-ready with some AMAZING decorated pumpkin-bat tealight holders! 🧡🖤 They all looked fantastic and were ready just in time for Halloween. 🎃✨

We can’t wait to welcome the MyOtas gang back for our November and December workshops. We’ve got lots more creativity to come and are really looking forward to making some wonderful wintery art together! ❄️🎨💙

Hi everyone,

It’s been another creative couple of weeks at Gweniems and our - My Own Time And Space gang!

Our Monday group got stuck into clay and jam jars, and the results were amazing. We had everything from a very cute guinea pig with butterflies painted around the jar, to a gorgeous beehive design. Once the tealights went inside, they really came to life. 🐝🦋✨

Tuesdays have been a little more chilled. We spent some time colouring wooden mandalas, chatting and just enjoying a bit of calm, creative time together. Sometimes you can’t beat some good old-fashioned colouring! 🎨

And, of course, we couldn’t let October go by without something spooky! 👻 Both groups finished off by creating Halloween lanterns, with no shortage of paint, glitter and gems.

Lots of creativity, lots of chatting and, as always, lots of lovely creations. 💜

✨ A lovely creative week at Gweniems! ✨

On Monday, our young artists got busy dotting wooden and acrylic keyrings, creating beautiful colourful patterns and designs. Once finished, they were carefully sealed with resin to give them a gorgeous glossy finish. Each one was completely unique and looked amazing! 🎨💎

Tuesday saw the MyOtas team putting the finishing touches to their clay jar creations. We had some wonderful designs, including buzzing bees 🐝, juicy apples 🍎, beautiful butterflies 🦋 and even a fabulous leopard print pattern! Once completed, each jar was paired with a little tealight, bringing them to life with a magical glow. ✨🕯️

It's always wonderful to see everyone's creativity and confidence grow with every project. Well done to all our talented makers last week! ❤️

✨ Another fantastic couple of workshops at Gweniems this week! ✨

🎀 Monday's Bead Session Our young creators got busy making beautiful angel wands, filled with sparkle and magic to help make all those special wishes come true. They also crafted some speedy little spiders, and with just 40 minutes left of the session, the MyOtas group somehow managed to whip up two beautiful, sparkly spiders each. Their creativity, focus and determination never fail to amaze us. Absolutely incredible! 🕷️✨

🫙 Tuesday's Clay Workshop This session pushed a few boundaries and encouraged everyone to step a little outside their comfort zone. Not everyone enjoys working with clay, but the group embraced the challenge brilliantly, carefully moulding clay onto glass jars and using their own artistic flair to make each one unique. The creativity on display was amazing, and every jar reflected the personality of its creator. 🎨💜

The jars are still a work in progress, so watch this space to see the finished masterpieces. We can't wait to share them with you!

As always, we're so proud of everyone who came along, gave things a go, and created something truly special. 🌟

🌟 Another wonderful week at Gweniems Workshops! 🌟

We had two fantastic sessions last week, and what a creative bunch we had! 🎨✨

🍄 Monday's workshop saw our young artists creating their very own whimsical magic mushroom gardens. There was so much imagination on display, with every garden as unique and magical as its creator.

❤️ Tuesday's session captured hearts as the children decorated beautiful hanging hearts on reclaimed branches. Using acrylic paints, mirrors and plenty of creativity, they transformed simple materials into stunning pieces of art.

A huge well done to the MyOtas gang, who did an absolutely fabulous job throughout both sessions. Their creativity, enthusiasm and confidence continue to amaze us every week.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We can't wait to see what we'll create together next! 💕🍄🎨

✨ Gweniems Workshops are BACK! ✨
After a sunny summer break, we jumped straight in last Monday and Tuesday with our two brilliant groups… and wow, did they deliver.

This week we created wild, wonderful masks (the kind that make you grin the second you see them) and funny little sea‑glass plant pot stakes that look like tiny ocean treasures popping out of the soil. 🌊🌱

If this is how we’re starting the term… we’re in for a magical one.

Can’t wait to see what next week brings — and if you’re new here, come join the chaos, the colour, and the community. Gweniems is where the weird ideas become wonderful things 💛

It's a pretty amazing and special place and we can't wait to see you all tomorrow for the last day. But we're certainly not sad as Hedingham Castle is just around the corner. ❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜
